Link: WordPerfect Office - Corel WordPerfect Lightning - Corel Corporation. I admit it. I am a WordPerfect guy. I was using WordPerfect before the first salamander crawled out of the primordial swamp. I have been using WordPerfect 11 for a couple of years, and have seen no need to upgrade to the current version, as I integrate it with HotDocs for document assembly. It is more functional than Microsoft Word; however, I have a copy of Word to use when I have to. I am pleased to see Corel move into the Web 2.0 world, with this free downloadable beta of Lightning. Lightning appears to be a composite web based word processor, document organizer and viewer, and stand-alone product. Try it out. Free for the download.
