Link: Google Apps Draw Converts - Yahoo! News. What happens when the software licenses are more expensive than the computer they run on? If you have a medium to large law firm, what are you going to spend on new Vista operating systems, and licenses for Microsoft Office? Solo lawyers and small firm lawyers cannot justify spending $300 to $400 per license for Office, when Google Apps is free. And, if you you want 10 gigabytes of email storage, and guaranteed availability, and no network problems, $50 a year will buy you as many users as you want. Sounds like a no brainer to me. But, I'm not the law firm administrator here. Wait, yes I am, but I only have one lawyer to please, and he is quite pleased NOT to give Microsoft any more of my hard earned cash.
Have you signed up for this service yet? Just wondering how it worked out. I am considering it as well.
