Do you use Yahoo mail? Didn't think so. I don't use web based mail, as I am perfectly happy with Thunderbird, from the Mozilla organization. However, I see more and more Google mail addresses. Why is Yahoo fading from view? Primarily because it lacks features. I switched from Yahoo to Google for RSS feeds, and have been happy with the results. However, the new Yahoo texting feature has been available from Google text for a while. A Firefox plugin makes it point and click simple. Yahoo may be playing a losing game; except for its great groups technology. Unlimited storage space might be the killer feature, though. You will never have to worry about the size of your mailbox again.
