It seems like just yesterday that we decided not to buy Windows Vista. Vista is already threatening to join the ranks of such awesome Windows failures as Windows Me. Now, we get to not want to buy the next version of Windows, code named 7. Of course, it won't be here for several years, so we have plenty of time to think about not buying it. Microsoft is like a battleship; it takes a while to turn it around. Hopefully, your frugal little law firm is happily using the inexpensive and stable Windows XP. I know I am.
I use Vista because it came with my new machines, and I have real problem with it. I like many of the new features. It is reasonably stable. I do not like how they have complicated a few of the old features, such as mail merge, but I can live with it.
