The March, 2008 ABA Journal Cover Story is a debate (of sorts) between the FutureLawyer and Ben Stevens over the relative benefits and disadvantages of Macs and PCs in law practice. Arguing the PC side was somewhat like arguing with my hands tied behind my back, since I hate Vista. However, there are enough reasons to stay with XP in law practice that I gave it a shot. Fascinating article! I have to say I agree with Rick on this one, although I'm looking forward to the day when Linux offers enough high quality lawyer- specific programs to be a contender. IMHO Mac is the worst, Windows is good, and Linux is great!

Does anyone know what percentage of lawyers use XP vs. Vista?
I am trying to figure out which one I should use, but I am utterly confused, not only by the choices Microsoft gives me, but also by the comments that abound on the internet.
