Link: Windows XP: Using keyboard shortcuts.
If you still use XP, like 80% of the rest of the planet, this one is for you. I remember the days of DOS, when everything was keyboard and text based, and we actually used the Function keys for something. Back in the day, I programmed my DOS box to open programs, run macros, and all sorts of cool things, with the push of a Function key. I actually had an "I love DOS" bumper sticker. Well, as I aged, it didn't take long for me to see the benefits of the graphical user interface, and I have been pointing and clicking ever since. If, however, you long for the days when you could assign shortcut keys to any task, you need to take a look at the built-in shortcut key function of Windows XP. It might make your life a little easier, and don't we all need a little of that?
