When I read a rant like this one from Ross Kodner, who is one of the best legal technologists around, I am SO happy I have resisted the urge to load and run Windows Vista on any of my machines. Every time I think that I have ranted about this bloated, buggy, annoying OS for the last time, something like this reaches out and screams, "Warn everyone! Tell Them Not To Do It!" I fully expected Ross to end his post with "I'm mad as H*** and I'm not going to take it anymore!"

Vista, while certainly plauged with issues, is more a victim of bad press than anything else (at this point). If MS hadn't bowed out to pressure from Intel and kept it a true 64bit OS, and not tried to make every printer and monitor made in the last 15 years work, then the problems would have been minimal.
