PDF Download — Free Tools to Create, Control and Convert Web-Based PDF Files.
Regardless of whether you use Firefox or Internet Explorer, this add-on to your browser will finally give you control over the increasing number of PDF documents on the web. Legal documents have been standardized in PDF for some years now, and they are notoriously unreliable when viewed in a web browser. Some Government entities use third-party solutions to show PDF documents in their databases. This free tool will take the complication out of the process. Nitro PDF also has a solution for converting and editing PDFs. If you want to save a web page in PDF format, just point and click.
I bought Nitro a year or two ago and I like it a lot. As a consumer bankruptcy attorney I need to maintain electronic files to be efficient, so merging pdf files is a necessity. One feature that I have had some difficulty getting to work is the feature to edit text. In this area Nitro is behind Adobe. Ideally Open Office will eventually come up with a pdf editor, but until they do we are stuck.
