Death of Film: Last Roll of Kodachrome Processed | Gadget Lab | Wired.com.
Film is dead. Long live film. Serious amateur and professional photographers have, for many years, used Kodachrome for 35 mm slide photography. I used Cibachrome for most of my stuff, as the colors were more saturated. The E-6 slide processing was a rite of passage, and I liked doing it myself. Kodak processed Kodachrome, and it is worth noting that the last roll has been processed. Digital photography has finally taken over the world.
I have to agree with you on this. However, I still need to use print film when I go to a basdeball game. The problem is with my digital camera. I do not have a motor drive for it. Nore does it come with one. I would like to see the day when Nikon comes out with a motor for its digital cameras. I really feel that it will be very costly.
