Verizon Customers: Samsung Galaxy Tab or iPad? | Android Tapp. Android App Reviews. Talk about a Hobson's choice. Both of the current hot tablet computers have problems that make them a no brainer NO choice for the FutureLawyer. They both DO have some redeeming qualities; they are touch screen devices with screens big enough to see (great for old eyes), the iPad has a screen that is 9 inches, which is about as small as you can go without eye strain. The Samsung has a gorgeous AMOLED screen, and the images pop. The Galaxy has cameras front and back, which will make real video calls a pleasure. The Galaxy also has USB ports, removable SD storage, and, well, you are getting the picture. Each of these little computers has good points; but, the bad points make it the better choice to wait for the next generation. For a real working computer, I just can't get with the whole virtual keyboard program. And, while Android is a great mobile OS, it really doesn't have a lot of full featured business apps, and the cloud just isn't ready yet.
Me thinks this is a "Hobbsian Choice" instead of a "Hobson's Choice." Regardless, nice review that's gotten me to put off buying a tablet for now. Thanks, Charlie
