The Home Office Sandbox - So Wrong On So Many Levels

The Home Office Sandbox. Okay, putting an office in a sandbox is pretty out there. However, putting the sandbox in the living room means several things: 1) This guy is definitely single. 2) He is most definitely NOT married to She Who Must Be Obeyed and 3) Just because the Beach Boys did it does not make it cool or smart. Down here in Florida, if we want sand in our toes, we walk outside. Or, better yet, we avoid sand altogether, and lounge by the swimming pool on Cooldeck. If you have real experience with sand, you don't want it in your house, you don't want it in your computer gear, and you don't want it between your toes, unless there is water nearby to wash it off. Duh. I have an idea. If you really want your feet in the sand while you are computing, move to Florida, get a netbook or smartphone, and go outside.
