Verizon iPhone a blessing for AT&T customers? | Crave - CNET. Well, today is the day that Verizon announces a CDMA version of the iPhone. It is expected that millions of users will switch from AT&T to Verizon. The debate about networks will continue, and AT&T will still be the choice of travelers who go to Europe a lot. Its GSM chip will work all over the world, while U.S. bound users will prefer the more reliable CDMA network of Verizon. However, will the migration be a good thing for those who stay with AT&T? Fewer iPhone users will most certainly free bandwidth for those who stay with AT&T. Since I don't want all of you iPhone users on my Verizon network, I recommend that you all stay with AT&T for this reason. Verizon, I understand that you want more money (who doesn't?); but, did you have to invite the Apple people to join our little club? I have a modest proposal. All current AT&T customers should stay with AT&T so that you will have more bandwidth for your iPhone calls. Verizon is not the network you are looking for. Hey, you have been telling us for some time that AT&T is a faster network, and that you can make iPhone calls and browse the web simultaneously, and that you cover more people. So, if AT&T is such a superior network, why leave it? Stay where you are. NOMN (Not On My Network).
