You Can Now Port Your Own Number to Google Voice. Be careful when you do this, because your carrier will charge you an early termination fee. However, if you want your Google Voice number to be your current cell phone number, you now can transfer it, for a fee of $20. Of course, you may have to pay an additional big charge to your phone company, and you will terminate your cell contract, and all your calls will be routed through Google Voice. Not that it is a bad thing. My Google Voice calls come to all my cell phones, and my other phones already. Want to dial the FutureLawyer? Call 727-537-9235. Good luck getting me to answer the phone.
