I don't normally make a practice of writing about vaporware; at least, until I can verify it is a real product, and the odds are that it will make an appearance. However, I am making an exception for the I'm Watch, an Italian startup that claims to be able to deliver this product by September or October of this year. The watch is connected to an Android smartphone via Bluetooth, which is easily doable. However, mini apps that transmit email, texts, tweets, Facebook updates, and the other information we use our smartphones for? Too early to tell. The Italian designers have given the watch a Ferrari feel, and it looks like it would be thin and stylish on the wrist. Most of us have stopped wearing wrist watches; but, this might make me reconsider that decision. Here is the promo video.

I don't think you can assume that most people don't wear watches -- my impression is that despite the phone's ability to give the time, most lawyers and most adults are wearing watches.
