Google updates Voice calling in Gmail, now allows you to make multiple calls%u2014at the same time | Gadgetell. One of the things lawyers do a lot is talk on the telephone. Even in an age of email, voice to voice communication remains the staple of lawyer interaction with colleagues, clients, prospective clients, sales representatives, and anybody who wants something. So, I was very happy to make my voice calling more efficient with free tools from Google, like Google Voice, Call Forwarding, and, some time ago, being able to make direct calls by clicking on any phone number in GMail. Now, in a nod to our busy lives, Google has enabled a multiple call feature. In a call? Want to place that call on hold while you make another? Easy. Just click on the new call, and the first will be automatically put on hold. Just remember to tell them before you go. Of course, it will now be problematic to bill for the first call. How to figure the time?
