I enjoy the Pad Transformer, and never carry the keyboard around. I hook up to it for heavy typing; but, I like the featherweight feel of the tablet only. The slider won't give you a choice. It is part of the unit. And, the 32 gig version is $699. That is pricey for an Android tablet. However, either Asus tablet is, IMHO, superior to the iPad. Handle both in the store before making a decision, however. You don't know what you will prefer until you have it in your hands.

Apparently, when they aren't enforcing San Francisco's ordinance against MacDonald's franchises who are serving meals containing too much unhealthy food, the San Francisco Police Department is tasked with investigating really serious crimes, like someone stealing an iPhone 5 prototype in a bar. Hey, they police the apple content in fast food meals; why not help Apple in a lost phone case? These guys really should have their own crime show on TV. They have demanded to see the bar's surveillance videos, in an attempt to find the perpetrator of this dastardly deed. With San Francisco's huge playbook of offenses against political and culinary standards, I just don't know where they find the time.

Droid Bionic Multimedia docks | Android Central. I am traveling this weekend, and I realized that I don't carry my alarm clock anymore. I know, I could get a wake up call from the front desk; but, I don't think the hotel will be sending someone up to play my tunes to me, or give me a slide show of family photos to keep me company. The dock sits by my chair at home, and I can monitor email and calls while comfortably seated. It charges the Bionic while docked, and serves as a kick stand for long video viewing. I wish that Motorola built kick stands into their cases; but, you can't have everything, right? What would I have to gripe about?
