Will the future be filled with beautiful, well dressed people ambling through train stations, bus stations and cities and homes, talking to their computing devices? Not. As this prescient video shows, computers will get very thin, very easy to use, and will be used by fingers and hands and eyes and motions. Who wants to talk to their computer all day anyway? Welcome to Microsoft's vision of the future.
That's a wonderful vision, and I'm sure it's much closer than anyone imagines.
But do you seriously think that computers should not become absolutely impeccable at understanding and responding to conversational input?
