Remembering 9/11 %u2014 History.com. There are some days that are solemn reminders of horrible historical events. 9/11 has become the biggest. There are so many stories to be told and retold. There is no better reminder of the evil some men perpetrate, or the goodness and greatness of others. The United States of America IS exceptional; the new World Trade Center is just one example. However, it is the resilience and basic goodness of the American Spirit that we celebrate today. Always we remember. Never we forget.
