Thanks for the suggestions. I bought the "ICS-ready" Droid Bionic about a year because you gave it glowing reports. It's a nice enough phone, but it's a been a lemon for a great many with tons of reports about ongoing 3G and 4G data loss. Despite promises that the phone was ICS ready a year ago, we are still waiting for ICS and the flames are rising on the Bionic forums. So, make and take recommendations with caution. John.

John: Sorry you didn't like the Bionic. It was my main phone for a year. I loved it. I still do. I finally rooted it and put Jelly Bean on it, and it is still going like a champ. Sorry you didn't have a good result with yours; but, I am not a guarantor of your tech buys. I stand by my recommendation. In its day, it was the best 4G phone out there.
