Another Way Apple's Fight With Google Is Hurting Users.
Thanks to Nikki Black for the heads up on this article. Apparently, in addition to banning Google Maps from iOS6, Apple is stalling on a natural language voice engine that Google has submitted to the iTunes store, which uses technology driving the new Jelly Bean search function in new Android phones. I ask Google Now questions every day, and I ask them like I am talking to a friend. Google Now answers most of them in a natural sounding voice, and the results are spectacular. Is Apple's pique with Google the reason it is denying this superior technology to Apple iPhone users? Why are Apple users putting up with this? In the vernacular of Monday Night Countdown, "C'mon Man!"
