Review: Samsung Galaxy Note II Smartphone.
Here is a review from someone who doesn't like the Note II. I have had mine a day, and I love it. Combining the biggest, fastest phone with Verizon Wireless, makes this the top of the line on the planet, in my opinion. I love the active stylus. This isn't just a pointing device. When you hover the stylus over something, more information pops up in a box. You can scroll without touching the screen. Just hover the stylus at the top, bottom, left or right, depending on the context, and the screen rolls over. Very nice. I have big hands, so I can use it with one hand; although, I don't mind using both hands at all. When was the last time you noticed someone ignoring you by using their phone, and thought, "hey, she is using the thing one handed?" This is just not an issue for me. Ultimately, this is a geek's phone, and a guy phone. And, I disagree with the author of this article. I can read my newspapers on it, and I don't have to carry a tablet with me any more. With a case that has a kick stand, I set the thing up in landscape mode, and I can watch the news with SlingPlayer at my desk. My teenage daughter likes the tiny iPhone. SWMBO loves the larger Galaxy S III she inherited from me. I like the big, honking Note II. Call it the three bears theory of smartphones. Baby bear, Mama bear, and PaPa Bear. We have it covered.
