HTC Droid DNA price drops to $150 via Amazon, $50 off list price.
Lunch with a friend yesterday convinced me that there are many different types of Android users. Just as there is a romantic partner type that we each tend to favor, so also do we gravitate towards a particular manufacturer aesthetic in our choice of smartphones. I have realized, over time, that I love the thin, big, bright screened, curved cornered Samsung products. My lunch companion loves the solidly built Motorola Droids, an aesthetic that is reproduced in the new HTC line of DNA phones. This is what I love about the Google Android ecosystem, and its partnership with many manufacturers. Design is important, and combined with the choice of operating system customizations and overlays, choosing the right Android phone is part science, part design, and part mysticism. What's your aesthetic? Pick your pleasure.
