Well, it didn't take long for me to need the ChromeBook. I left my notebook at home, plugged in and online; when you are old, you get forgetful. Normally, I would hop in the car and go home and get it, since I only live 5 minutes away. However, it occurred to me that Friday would be a good day to see how much, if any, work I could get done at the office, with the Chromebook plugged in to my big screen and other peripherals. I haven't yet created a local connection with my printer; but, I can print to it using HPEprint, using my dedicated email address. I can do just about anything, including accessing WordPerfect with Remote Desktop. It feels a little odd to create a document remotely on my notebook computer at home, and print from there back to the office printer sitting next to me. But, whatever works. I still need to figure out how to access my PaperPort and scanner and label maker; but, Rome wasn't built in a day. It is so much more fun spending Friday playing with this stuff than suing people.
