Google's new unified messaging is very cool. I deleted my Text messaging app, and no longer make calls with the Phone app. Just bring up hangouts, and enter a phone number or an email address. You have the option to make a regular phone call, a video phone call, send a text, or send an email to any of your contacts, which are synced across all your devices. One stop communicating. What a concept.
