Upcoming Google TV update to include Google Cast API | Android and Me.
Just because you can stream TV from the new dongle Chromecast, don't throw away the Google TV box, or the built in version on your TV. Google has big plans for Google TV and it will work great with the dongle. Watch for some great updates soon. Althiugh, it would be great to have a Chromecast out here on the high seas. Although ship satellite is painfully slow, once you have the video buffered, you could watch anything. We have a modern TV with HdMI inputs, so it would be plug and play. I wonder if the sports ba r would let me plug a Chromecast into one of the big screens?
