Seth's Blog: Your permanent record.

You are a perfect human being, aren't you? Execupundit posted this rant by Seth Godin, in which he makes a perfectly valid argument about our recorded, investigated, examined, and publicized existence, in the age of the Internet. If you have ever done anything that you would be embarrassed to see on the front page of the newsreader anyone you know reads, you should be worried. That means we all should be worried. Unless we stop judging others for a single act; or even a string of acts or omissions, we are going to create a world in which no one speaks or writes or acts. Unless the publicized act is about harming another, I resolve not to read, think about, or discuss anything I read on the Internet. So, serial rapists and murderers, you are getting your just deserts. The rest of you, keep on being weird. I promise you won't be judged by me.
Note to SWMBO: please don't write what you know about me. I have enough to be worried about.
