Turns out Apple%u2019s A7 processor featured inside the iPhone 5s was built by Samsung.
The new Apple iPhones ironically are powered by a new chip, the A7. However, it seems clear that Apple won't be suing Samsung if it uses the technology in a Samsung phone. The chips are manufactured and sold to Apple by, you guessed it, Samsung. Smartphones make strange bedfellows.
