BitTorrent Sync - Secure, Fast Syncing Of All Your Files

BitTorrent Labs. BitTorrent is a small engineering company that is famous for allowing the secure transfer of very large files. It has been misused by some who transfer files that are NSFW; but, Sync is an Alpha offshoot that is being touted as a secure way to store and transfer large files between devices. Since none of the data is stored on servers outside the user's control, Sync can serve as a great alternative to DropBox and other similar services that store stuff in the cloud. Call it using the cloud for transfer; but, keeping the box in your hand. I have been using local sync tools like SyncToy for keeping my data files up to date on SD cards and USB drives and sticks. I will be testing Sync and report back. This is Alpha software, so beware; but, this looks like a very promising development.
