What's The Best Travel Router?.
Not too long ago, I was cutting edge because I carried a little portable router that I plugged in to the hotel cable, and created a hotspot for the family. It also worked with my mobile phone in the car. This article claims that you need one so you can keep your devices charged. I disagree. You can get a portable WiFi Hotspot device that is smaller than a pack of playing cards. Just press the button and the family is sharing your cell plan data immediately. And, since you aren't using a public WiFi signal, you don't need to create a VPN for secure browsing. And, while more hotels are providing free WiFi, there are a number who charge more than $10 a day for the service. So, keep your devices charged up, and get a HotSpot device from your carrier. Remember, when SWMBO is happy everybody is happy.
