OneNote is Now Free: Is Microsoft%u2019s Note-Taking App Worth Using?. Microsoft has decided to compete straight up with EverNote, which has been gaining traction in the organize everything space. It is now free to everyone, and is cross platform. While there are more features in the version that comes with a subscription to Office 365, the free version is more capable than EverNote. I am going to give it a spin and see what happens.
