Rick Georges : Real Lawyers Have Blogs. Occasionally, I make an error. There. I said it. Those who know me also know how seldom that I admit error. SWMBO would say not enough. However, when I wrote a post in 2008 that practicing lawyers didn't need Twitter, I was wrong. The social and public discourse that has resulted from Twitter use is invaluable; and, not just for citizenry fighting oppressive regimes and getting the word out in a disaster. Kevin O'Keefe is a lawyer's visionary, and he saw the utility of Twitter and social media for lawyers before anyone else. Kevin, you were right. I was wrong. Now, everybody, just get over it.
