Of course, laws prohibiting men with moustaches from kissing women, and prohibiting ice cream cones in your pocket, seem ridiculous to us. However, who knows what dastardly deeds moustached men were committing when that law was passed, and who knows what America's dry-cleaning bill might be if ice cream cones were regularly placed in pockets?
