As Google migrates Google Hangouts to a stand alone application in order to reach into the Enterprise Business Meetings business, it is worth asking whether the ubiquitous company can make Hangouts work in a Court setting. Of course, court hearings are most often conducted in person. But video live depositions have been occurring for years, and the migration of the technology to the masses is a clear indication that cost of travel and other expenses make it an attractive alternative to in person meetings.
