When you are the only guy in the room, you can bring any device you want. When you are one in a thousand, you have to be certain you aren't creating problems for others. But, the single organization IT Department has bigger problems. The entire Internet is a threat to a singe IT organization, and it is tougher to control. The best you can do is limit access from the outside; but, you run the risk of preventing the members of your organization from getting the infomation they need. I prefer my solution.
