Corel WordPerfect Office. If I had to pick one thing I like most about WordPerfect it would be the ability to get under the hood while in a document, and to edit the codes that dictate the look and feel of a document. I have used WordPerfect since the very first version, and it has become second nature to me. It converts and reads all word processor formats, including Microsoft Word, and is the one application that I couldn't do without in my practice. I recently upgraded to X7, and it is smooth and fast. I have to run it alongside X6 until my document processing software catches up; but, the early returns are in. I love it. Anybody else out there desperately clinging to their guns and WordPerfect?
Yes add me to the WP list! -- even though my company IT dept no longer supports it I still use it. It's much easier to use and more functional than the dreaded Word.

I use WP for the same reason (and that it was my first word processing program in1992). Reveal codes rock.

yes still use WP, started with it, and continue with X6 at the moment, have used Word but cannot get Word to format documents in any fashion that make sense to me. And while WP will convert a Word document, saving a WP document as a Word document results, at least for me, with the document format inconsistent in the new word format. I don't plan on switching.
