Google Drive - Cloud Storage & File Backup for Photos, Docs & More. In the old days, you went to a portal page, and accessed the Internet through its filter, often laden with advertising. These days, files and storage is in the cloud, meaning stored on a server farm somewhere else. Now that Google's document software has been interwoven into Google Drive, all of your files can be kept available to you for whatever action you need to take, wherever you have an Internet connection. You can designate what folders and files sync to Google Drive in the cloud. I don't use Drive for client confidential documents; but, I am putting all of my forms there, for access and use from any device. Check out how it works in this short video:
