Sling TV is the live TV service cord cutters have been asking for | Android and Me. Broadcast TV will probably never die; but, it won't ever be the same. While I was traveling, I watched football and other stuff on my home Slingbox over the Internet. There is something cool about changing channels on a TV thousands of miles away in real time. But, at CES, Dish Network and Sling Media announced a new twist, Sling TV, which, for $20 a month, will provide live basic cable in real time over the Internet. The channel lineup isn't spectacular; but, if yoiu absolutely, positively, want to cut the cord, this is the first service that promises to do it.
