Has Facebook become the face of the Internet for Americans?. I was skeptical about Facebook in the beginning. tt felt like a place where friends went to brag about their lives. It is, however, addictive, and I am hooked. I even made several attempts to disengage, and I discovered that my contacts with friends and family left me out of the loop. Now, Facebook is becoming an essential place to connect with clients, and to get new ones. I get as much, or more, engagement on FutureLawyer topics on Facebook as I do on Google+, which is more oriented toward shared interests. Blogs are still necessary, ofcourse, if only to serve as a permanent publishing platform that puts all of your work in one place. However, if you are not socially engaged, the clients will pass you by.
