Android Pay likely at Google I/O as Samsung preps its own service | Computerworld. Mobile payment services are becoming more plentiful; but, which one, if any, will survive? Due to sheer numbers of handsets out there, it is a good bet that Android Pay, to be announced next week at Google I/O, and Apple Pay, will both survive. Will we become comfortable paying for things in the ether? Will we still want paper receipts? Much depends upon security issues, and ease of use. I look forward to Google's entry into this market.
