Birds of The World: PARROTS and their ALLIES. There are dozens of variations of Lorikeets, and many color combinations. The most well known is the Rainbow; but this Red and Purple variation is one of the prettiest, and lives at Sarasota's Jungle Gardens, where I photographed him recently.
