Apple Watch to land at Best Buy on August 7 - CNET. Okay, I am being hyperbolic; but, after refusing to disclose sales numbers, and marketing Apple Watch as the rich man's SmartWatch that could only be bought online or in an Apple store, Apple will now put its watch next to the common man's Android offerings. How will Apple justify its' plus $600 price for watches with no more functionality than Android Wear models costing less than $200? In fact, the square Apple Watch face is rapidly being replaced by more traditional looking round watches with leather straps that cost over $150 at Apple.
