Hopefully, you have changed the admin and password from the default settings so that the passing hacker can't easily get to it. Once a hacker gets in, it is a simple thing to point the router to a phony DNS server, and then you belong to the hacker. This article tells you how to check to make sure your router hasn't been hacked. You should get into the web settings of your router anyway, to change the admin and password. Be safe out there.

Asus Zenfone 2: A real steal at $300. 4 GB of RAM. Up to 128 GB on board memory. Micro SD card slot for another 128 GB, and total an amazing 256 GB of memory. A 5.5 inch screen in a phone no bigger than a 5 inch size. What's not to like about the ZenFone 2? It costs less than half what the flagship phones cost. Yes, you want one. So do I. But, this phone comes with a great big caveat. It won't work on the best network, Verizon. Verizon uses a wide band version of CDMA, WCDMA, and you can only use the ZenFone 2 on AT&T or T-Mobile. I have heard some good things about T-Mobile lately; but, neither network comes close to Verizon. So, I will pass. If you are a customer of the other two networks, you should take a look at this phone.

I am certain that setting associates up in cubicles surrounded by an open space with a TV that looks like the lobby of a suburban motel is an effieient way to practice. I am also certain that BigLaw associates and partners make a lot more money than I can ever hope to achieve. However, practicing law in this antiseptic environment is a bit much for FutureLawyer. My future lies in a 50 year old house with creaky floors and an aviary.

Tiny SSD Drive Is Great For Backup

The Crucial 500 GB SSD drive was delivered this morning. I attached the SATA to USB 3.0 cable,and formatted it for connection to the tablet. I will be imaging the tablet drive to it. It occurred to me that the backup might be at USB 3.0 speeds; but, the SSD drive should speed up input and output. We shall see. Have you imaged your drive today? A Colombian Kingpin Gets The 'Goodfellas' Treatment In 'Narcos' : NPR. It is going to be hard to concentrate on work today. The ten episode Netflix series "Narcos" premieres, and I have a thing for Pablo Escobar history. I started the first episode in the office mancave this morning, and it was difficult to pause it to come get some work done. One thing is for certain, I will have watched the whole series before Sunday night.

Huawei (pronounced WA-WAY) is improving on current Android Wear watches with a display that removes the black band at the bottom of the watch, nice styling, and a full circle AMOLED display. While I am sticking with my Tizen Gear S until there is an Android Wear device with a phone chip, these look like very nice Android Wear devices. Now that Android Wear has become the standard OS, specs and design are the only things to distinguish the watches from one another. Tell me again that SmartWatches are a fad? I'll bet you grandfather thought horseless carriages were a fad too.

Amazon.com: Amazon Prime (One Year Membership). One of my readers asked me why I hadn't yet posted about Amazon Prime. He just discovered it, and was amazed by the benefits. I told him I had been a member for a couple of years, and it is the best $99 I spend each year. I used to shop on EBay; but, the security was terrible, and I spent a lot of time wondering whether the Seller was legitimate. Now, I do all my shopping online, and I get my stuff in two days. The unlimited movies,music, and photo storage are great. Now, some locations have same day delivery. I know. This sounds like a sales pitch; but, you need to try Prime. You will never buy stuff anywhere else.

He says that when you feel like engaging, you should disengage, and when you feel like disengaging, you should engage. I say you should do the opposite. Counterintuitive, I know.
