New startup aims to transfer people's consciousness into artificial bodies so they can live forever - TechSpot. This sounds like science fiction and it is. However, technology has caused many sci fi dreams to become reality. So why not transfer a human brain into a robot and live forever? Of course, this presumes that you would want to be a disembodied brain in a machine. And, since the tech, if ever, won't be available for 30 to 100 years, you have to consent to having your brain removed and frozen after death. Sounds like pie in the sky to me. But, hey, hope springs eternal.
