The Internet of Things - Not Yet

The Internet of Things Is Everywhere, But It Doesn't Rule Yet | WIRED. Yes, it seems that every product now comes with an Internet connection. And, you can expect that the future will bring more and more connected devices into our lives. But, as the author of this post correctly points out, the promise of the future is mired in our present collective consciousness. We are happy to buy single purpose Internet connected stuff; but, these devices don't yet connect with all the other devices. Yes, some uses can now be extended by bluetooth connections to other devices; but, the connect to everything else world is still in the future. Keep your eye out for the truly connected products. We live in interesting times.
