Vulcain Watches - TouchOfModern. The Vulcain line of watches is attractive; and, when Harry Truman wore one in 1950, the fact that they had an alarm function was probably very cool. But using that as a selling point for a watch that costs $4,000 ( a steep discount from its $9,000 retail price) is like selling sunshine to a Floridian. Please. For $4,000, I could buy 8 to 10 of the finest Smartwatches available, and wear one each day of the week. I could buy 3 or 4 high end tablet computers, or...well, you get the picture. Is there really a market for these things in an Internet of things age?
