Galaxy View - 18.4 Inch Android Tablet | Samsung US. When I first saw the Galaxy View, I thought it was much too big for a tablet. However, then I remembered that SWMBO and She Who Someday Will Be Obeyed binge watched a lot of TV on their phones and tiny tablets already. They watched at the kitchen counter, on the dining room table, and in the living room. The View is the ideal device to carry around the house, and I have set it up for all three of us to be Android users and to have our own apps and profiles. It is pre-configured to go to various video sites, such as NetFlix and others. Each user has their own private area, and this tablet will be great to take on family trips. Just set it up in the room, and you are binging on House of Cards or Downton Abbey. I suspect that I won't get to use it much; but, since I am the owner, they will have to let me use it occasionally.

This talk, by Ed Walters, of FastCase, should be mandatory viewing for every lawyer in America. Hell, it should be mandatory viewing for every citizen. Ed Walters is eloquent in this elucidation of the history of the digitizing of primary law databases. He is right when he says the "Law is a Cathedral". We, and our Government, need to make sure that it is accessible to everyone. Certainly, commercial companies can add editorial content and secondary research to the primary law; but, they should not be able to claim ownership of it to the exclusion of others. The law is not, and should not be,subject to copyright. Watch this talk.

Windows Tip - The Control Key Puts You In Control

15 simple, secret Windows tips and tricks designed to save you time | PCWorld. You are probably familiar with the keyboard alternatives to Right click and Copy or Paste. Since my right hand is always on the mouse, it is easier to highlight text or whatever, and right click to copy and paste. However, you can also use the Control key (Ctrl) with C or V to copy and paste. However, what if you miskey something, or do something stupid (Yes, you do sometimes) and make a copy of a list of files by mistake or some other dumb thing. Use the Ctrl key along with Z and, presto, the last action disappears. All is right with the world.

Windows 10-Powered %u2018Samsung Galaxy TabPro S%u2019 With Detachable Keyboard Goes On Sale Today For $900. While I am still happy with my Sony Tap 11, it is an orphan, and I am straining a bit under the 128 Gig drive space. It also has a two year old chip that is a little slow at times. The new Samsung Windows 10 tablet looks like a winner; but, at $900 it still has the 128gb storage, and, while 256gb is available, it will cost more. I will check them out at Best Buy this weekend; but, unless I am blown away by the Samsung screen and 1.5 pound lightness, I will likely stay with the Tap 11 a while longer. If you haven't sprung for a 2 in 1 yet, however, this is the one to get. Enjoy.
