Oculus highlights over 1 million Gear VR users with new content. As Gear VR users hit the one million mark, makers are becoming serious about creating serious content, and the educational possibilities are mind boggling. How about getting up close and personal with prehistoric fish, narrated by David Attenborough? It gives new meaning to going back in time. We may not be able to relive the past; but, we can certainly engage with it in a more connected way. I foresee the students of the future using VR all the time to learn about our world and everything in it. It will be wonderful.
