Sharing your work cubicle with robots may not be such a bad thing | homeAI.info. Okay, this author uses the phrase "work cubicle", which is a phrase that never passes the FutureLawyer lips. In fact, I will never work in an open space, preferring the solitude of a room with a door that closes. Call me Les Nessman (anyone who gets that reference is too old already). However, the future of our work world, be we lawyers or any other profession is certainly destined to include human enhancements like robots. We already have them in our offices; we just call them laser printers, copiers, scanners, external hard drives, microphones and so forth. Purists will argue that robots have the ability to ambulate around; but, the true benefit of AI and other advanced machine learning tech is in the enhancement of human function. Robots in your future? Look around. They are already here.
