Lowe's robot wants to help you find the plumbing aisle - CNET. Robots will never be doctors or lawyers. But, they will enhance and augment human professionals in the practice of their professions. And, in certain environments that depend on information more than human judgment, they will replace human employees. In retail settings, robots will soon be guiding us around store environments. The Lowe's robot assistant experiment is proof that they can perform even better than humans, as long as they are updated with Inventory and location information. Next stop? Your home cleaning and cooking services.
