However, a GPS tracker in a dog collar is a great way to keep track of the little guy when he is down the street wreaking havoc on the neighbors' lawns. Who said wearable computing was a fad?

Then, image the drive and save your essential files on a daily basis. I use Goodsync to save my essential files to a MicroSD card in my computer on a daily basis. Then, if I have to reinstall Windows 10 to eliminate a ransomware demand, I can reload the data from the MicroSD. Third, use a mail client that has a strong filtering client. GMail catches a lot of phishing and nasty email automatically, and puts it in a Spam folder. You can check the folder periodically to spot misfiltered email. But, better safe than sorry. No more blaring sound in the room. These are highly recommended, and can be found on Amazon for $99, discounted from a retail price of $149.

Samsung's Gear S3 smartwatch lets you ditch your phone in style. I love the Gear S2 and wear it every day. The rest of my SmartWatch collection is gathering dust in a watch case. I love the styling of the watch, and, most of all, the ability to take all my phone calls on the watch if I prefer. I can leave the SmartPhone in a charging cradle at the office while I am out and about, and never miss a call, text, or email. The larger design of the S3, and the ruggedness of the Frontier version with the phone chip, screams male geek. Grunt. Ladies, you will probably prefer the Gear S2 for smaller wrists.
